Call of the Haunted resolves in the middle of a chain.
No. The last thing to happen was Soul Release resolving, so you do not get a Summon response window for Torrential.
If I chain Call of the Haunted to Soul Release, do the other targets still get banished?!
Soul Release is activated targeting five cards and you chain Call of the Haunted to remove one target from the Graveyard.
Yes. Soul Release resolves as much as possible and will still banish the remaining valid targets.
