Interactions

How does Gaia Plate's halving effect interact with Honest/Kalut?!
Gaia Plate battles a monster boosted by Honest/Kalut.
Gaia Plate's continuous effect reapplies whenever possible, so the boosted ATK is halved after the boost is applied during damage calculation.
If Skill Drain is up and I have no Rock monsters in the GY, what happens to Gaia Plate in the Standby Phase?!
You control Gaia Plate with Skill Drain active and have no Rock monsters in the Graveyard.
Gaia Plate is destroyed. Skill Drain does not stop its maintenance cost from being applied.
